Faith in our Future Town Hall Events

Faith in our Future Town Hall Events are hosted by MyChristianSchool - which is an alliance between Australian Association of Christian Schools, Christian Schools Australia and Associated Christian Schools. This alliance was created in response to the controversial recommendations made by the Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC) on 21 March 2024 which, if enacted by the federal Government, would pose a serious challenge to the future of Christian schools.

The program for each Town Hall event includes a time for parents, teachers and students to share their positive stories about Christian education and allow the Government and Opposition representatives to speak, outlining their response to the ALRC recommendations.

We are inviting people from the Christian school network as well as leaders from other faiths who are also concerned about the ALRC recommendations and their potential impact on all religious educational institutions if implemented by the Albanese Government.
