Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Amendment Bill

The Northern Territory Department of the Attorney-General and Justice released the draft Anti Discrimination Amendment Bill 2022 for public consultation in June 2022.

The Draft Bill contained a number of proposed reforms to the Act which could impact NT Christian Schools' ability to employ staff and enrol students whose values and beliefs are aligned with the faith of the school community.

AACS has made a submission on behalf of NT Christian Schools, which you can read here. We thank all of those in the NTCS community, including concerned parents and teachers, who made submissions about the proposed changes via the consultation process.
