SA Election: Bipartisan Support for Faith-Based School Protections

The Minister for Education Blair Boyer (below) and Shadow Education Minister Jack Batty have committed to not repealing or amending the religious exceptions in the SA Equal Opportunity Act.

This bipartisan commitment was made at a pre-election forum in Adelaide this evening, hosted by the AISSA and attended by AACS CEO Vanessa Cheng.

Support for this protection provides reassurance for Christian schools, knowing they can continue to make decisions about staffing and enrolment that reflect their beliefs.
