Apprentice Teachers

A highly successful Teaching School model has been featured by the Daily Telegraph today. The St Philip's Teaching School, in partnership with Alphacrucis College, provides Christ-centred 'apprenticeship' teacher training for students which operates on-site at the St Philip's Schools. The model provides students with the unique opportunity of being apprenticed by a Master Teacher within the College and immediate application of their tertiary study in the school setting.

AACS is calling upon the federal Government to roll this program out across the nation to heop address the national teacher shortage.
